Helping the environment means so much to me. Anything I can do, I want to be able. Every little part can do so much when put together!

I AM PART OF THE MISSION

Our mission is to rid the oceans of plastic. The Ocean Cleanup sunglasses are made with plastic caught in the patch during the System 001/B campaign in 2019. With this pair of sunglasses, I’m helping us use this plastic to catch more plastic.

MY PERSONAL IMPACT

100% of the proceeds from these sunglasses will go directly to continued cleanup operations, enabling the cleanup of an area equivalent to 24 football fields of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch.

Here’s a video of the campaign that brought this first plastic to shore, the same ocean plastic which was certified from DNV and the same plastic which is used in the frames of my The Ocean Cleanup sunglasses.

Each pair equates to cleaning an area the size of 24 football fields in the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. I contributed so they can reach their goal of cleaning 500,000 football fields worth of ocean. The goal was reached in February 2022.
